Memory is an idea that connects my body of works. This concept attaches and provides numerous emotions that images cannot do in the same way. My work is base in a variety of things. Beginning with the idea of travel, I have work in several formats and different kinds of landscapes. A trip provides different cultural experiences in every place. People, foods, land, music, religion, art, are part of what we learn and see in travels and I like to put them into images. I prefer natural over than urban environments because of the colors; my palette is established by colors found in all the places I have visited. Landscapes of my own country, Chile, are source of eternal and especial inspiration to me. Since I was very young, I have traveled from north to south. Literature is another line of inspiration for my work. I enjoy reproducing the emotions that words have on me, and I like to interpret that into images for an audience to evoke an emotion as response. I built my work with memories and images that I have collected in several places or found in research for certain topics.

My art is based on painting, drawing and printmaking. My work combines these three techniques in order to produce innovated new outcomes. Mixing them and creating a new image is what keep me inspire. There are always some elements of chance that lead me to discoveries and give me a different point of view in a work –and I like to take advantage of them. My first studies were in painting; melding that to other media such as printmaking, gives me the chance to create interesting results, and a better method on what I want to produce in a final work or image.
